About these terms
These terms explain how MBG Appliance Services handles service requests, estimates, authorized repairs, and payments. Review them together with your estimate, invoice, and any written warranty. We provide applicable service terms before you authorize work. Nothing here limits rights that cannot legally be waived.
Scheduling and access
A service request becomes an appointment when confirmed by our team or booking system. Arrival windows allow for travel and the time needed at earlier appointments; they are not exact arrival guarantees.
Please arrange for an adult authorized to approve service to be present. Let us know about building entry requirements, parking restrictions, certificates of insurance, stacked appliances, built-in installations, or marine access before your visit. Keep the work area accessible and children and pets safely away from tools and equipment.
Diagnostic service and fees
Diagnostic service covers evaluation of the appliance and the preparation of repair recommendations when a diagnosis can be established. The applicable service-call fee and any additional access or appliance charges will be disclosed before the appointment.
A diagnostic fee may still apply if you decline a repair or if the problem involves the property’s electrical supply, plumbing, drainage, ventilation, or installation rather than an appliance component.
For an approved repair, any diagnostic credit will be shown on the written estimate or invoice. Additional appliances require separate authorization.
Estimates and repair approval
We explain recommended work and its price before proceeding. An estimate covers the listed work only. If testing or disassembly reveals another issue, we will explain the finding and request approval before performing additional chargeable work.
An estimate is valid through the date shown on it. Parts availability and scheduling may affect completion. If the approved price must change before work proceeds, we will request your approval.
Deposits and ordered parts
Your estimate will identify any deposit required before parts are ordered. Before you authorize an order, we will disclose any non-returnable part or supplier cancellation restriction and explain how it affects your deposit.
If a repair is canceled, we will provide an accounting of authorized work already performed, approved non-recoverable parts costs, and any refundable balance. Applicable legal refund rights remain in effect.
Cancellation and rescheduling
Please give at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. A cancellation within 24 hours of the appointment carries a $99 cancellation fee.
If the technician cannot obtain access or safely begin work, any applicable visit charge will have been disclosed in advance. We do not charge a customer cancellation fee when MBG cancels the appointment.
Safe working conditions and property concerns
Please tell us about known water leaks, damaged shutoff valves, electrical hazards, fragile finishes, and prior appliance modifications. We may pause work when access or conditions are unsafe and explain what needs to be addressed before service can continue.
Moving a built-in or stacked appliance, removing cabinetry, or providing additional personnel may require a separate estimate. If you have a concern about work performed or property damage, notify us promptly so we can document it and arrange a review.
Completion and payment
Payment is due as stated on the approved estimate or invoice. Any different payment arrangement must be agreed in writing.
At completion, we explain the work performed, available test results, and any operating or stabilization instructions. An acknowledgment of completion does not eliminate applicable warranty rights or claims involving defects that were not reasonably observable at that time.
Repair limitations and maintenance
A repair addresses the authorized scope of work. Appliances can have multiple faults, and a later failure may require a separate diagnosis. Maintenance and cleaning address the conditions described in the service order and do not guarantee that worn components will not fail.
If a temporary measure or limited-scope repair is proposed, we will explain its limitations and any warranty implications before you approve it.
Warranty and manufacturer coverage
Our written repair warranty is described on the Warranty page and in your service documents. Manufacturer warranties and third-party protection plans are separate. Contact the plan administrator before authorizing work if you intend to seek coverage or reimbursement. MBG cannot promise that another organization will pay a claim.
Concerns and disputes
If you believe an invoice or repair is incorrect, contact us with your invoice number and a description of the concern. We will review the service record and discuss the next steps. This process does not restrict payment-dispute rights or other rights provided by law.
Website use and changes
Do not misuse our forms, interfere with website operations, or submit information you are not authorized to share. General website information does not replace an appliance-specific diagnosis.
Updated terms apply prospectively from their stated effective date. They do not retroactively reduce rights under an earlier repair agreement. These terms are governed by applicable Florida law, subject to mandatory protections that may apply.
