Service Terms and Conditions

Service Authorization

By scheduling or approving service, the customer authorizes MBG Appliance Services to perform diagnostic testing, troubleshooting, and repair work based on conditions observed at the time of service.

Diagnostic Process & Repair Expectations

Appliance repair is a diagnostic process based on the symptoms present at the time of service. Additional or hidden issues may only become apparent as the repair progresses.

While every effort is made to restore the appliance to proper operation, repair outcomes cannot be guaranteed, particularly when dealing with complex systems, discontinued parts, or internal component failures.

Labor, Diagnostics & Parts

All diagnostic time, labor, and parts ordered or installed are billable services and are not contingent upon a successful repair outcome.

Parts that are special-order, discontinued, or sourced through third-party suppliers are non-returnable and non-refundable once purchased.

Estimates & Additional Work

Estimates are based on initial findings. If additional issues are discovered during the repair process, customer approval will be obtained before proceeding.

Warranty

MBG Appliance Services provides a 30-day warranty on labor performed.

Parts installed are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty (up to one year, if applicable).

Warranty does not cover:

  • Refrigerant (Freon) or sealed system-related issues

  • Glass, rubber, or plastic components

  • Misuse, neglect, or power-related issues

  • Units that have been relocated after service

  • Repairs performed by parties other than MBG Appliance Services

Proof of service (invoice) is required for all warranty claims.

Limitations of Liability

MBG Appliance Services is not responsible for:

  • Food loss or spoilage

  • Water damage or leaks

  • Delays due to parts availability or manufacturer support

  • Pre-existing conditions or failures unrelated to serviced components

Appointments & Access

Customers are responsible for providing access at the scheduled appointment time. Missed appointments may result in a service charge.

Payments & Fees

Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed.

Deposits and payments for parts are non-refundable.

Returned checks are subject to a $250 fee.

Service Lien

In the event of non-payment, MBG Appliance Services reserves the right to pursue all available legal remedies, including a service lien where permitted by law.

Media & Documentation

MBG Appliance Services may take photos or videos for diagnostic, documentation, training, and quality control purposes.

Media may be used for marketing without personal identifying information unless consent is provided.

Communication & Privacy

By providing your contact information, you consent to receive service-related communications via phone, text message (SMS), or email.

MBG Appliance Services does not sell or share personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying “STOP.”

Intellectual Property

All service-related documentation, photos, videos, and materials created by MBG Appliance Services remain the property of MBG Appliance Services.

Dispute Resolution

We are committed to providing high-quality service and resolving any concerns in a fair and professional manner.

In the event of a dispute, the customer agrees to contact MBG Appliance Services directly and allow a reasonable opportunity to review and address the concern before initiating any third-party claims, chargebacks, or legal action.

Both parties agree to make a good-faith effort to resolve any dispute through direct communication.

Customer Acknowledgment

By scheduling or approving service, the customer acknowledges, accepts, and agrees to these terms and understands that appliance repair outcomes cannot be guaranteed.
